On April 15, 2013, Brilliant welcomed Kyle Rauth to the team. Kyle is finishing up his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He will work part-time as a CAD Operator until his graduation from NJIT in May at which point he will join Brilliant’s full time staff. As a Project Engineer I, Kyle will also serve as Brilliant’s Laboratory Administrator. Welcome Kyle!

On April 21, 2013, Sara Brilliant, daughter of owner Phil Brilliant, and her friend Amanda Kacperowski were honored by the Lakewood BlueClaws as part of their 70 Sandy Ovations program. In just three short weeks, Sara and Amanda organized the Pier Pressure Hurricane Relief Concert which was held on December 1, 2012. The concert raised $15,000 for the New Jersey Amusement Association’s 1st Responders Fund as well as the Toms River Regional Schools Hurricane Relief Fund.
Sara and Amanda are also featured on the Inspirational Teens page of the inspire me 2 aspire (IM2A) Inspiration Portal which is a place where you can find information on inspirational women and female teens around the world.
After the success of the first concert, Sara and Amanda are organizing the second Pier Pressure Hurricane Relief Concert which will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Hemingway’s Cafe in Seaside Heights, NJ.
