EPA and Department of Commerce Launch U.S. Environmental Solutions Toolkit

In a joint effort to support American business and to promote environmental protection on a global scale, the EPA and the U.S. Department of Commerce have launched the U.S. Environmental Solutions Toolkit.  The toolkit is a search engine and a “buyers resource guide” that “marries EPA expertise on solving environmental challenges with a catalogue of U.S. providers of related technologies.”

A user can search for a technology, an environmental problem, or for a service-provider, and the Toolkit will lead the user to the resource that he or she seeks. According to the EPA and the Department of Commerce, the U.S. Environmental Solutions Toolkit “supports the President’s National Export Initiative by fostering export opportunities for the U.S. environmental industry as well as advancing environmental protection goals.”
