EPA Seeks Nominations for Annual Environmental Quality Awards

The U.S. EPA seeks nominations for its annual Environmental Quality Awards.  The Awards are given in 6 categories:

  • Individuals
  • Business and Industry
  • Non-Profit Organization, Environmental or Community Group
  • Environmental Education
  • Federal, State, Local or Tribal Government or Agency
  • Print and Broadcast Media

The awards recognize efforts in communities to protect public health and the environment in New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and eight federally recognized Indian Nations.  Winners will be honored at an awards ceremony during Earth Week. Nominees who are eligible to win are those who have:
