Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey – When a retail gas station owner wanted to sell a property impacted by hydrocarbon contamination in the soil and groundwater, the potential buyers hired Brilliant Environmental Services, LLC (BES) to evaluate the environmental liability associated with the site, and to help establish the fair market value. Though the site had been undergoing extensive remedial actions for over twenty years, BES determined the site was still contaminated, and the cost to complete the remediation was significant.
