Environmental Field Technician / Remediation Technician
Brilliant Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Field Technician / Remediation Technician to assist with field activities, environmental remediation systems, sampling, equipment maintenance, and project work throughout New Jersey and nearby areas.
This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving mechanical problems, traveling to project sites, and learning new technical skills on the job.
Environmental Field Technician Responsibilities
Team members in this position may:
- Operate and maintain environmental remediation systems
- Perform groundwater, soil, potable water, and vapor sampling
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot pumps, blowers, compressors, and related equipment
- Assist with drilling, excavation, monitoring well installation, and other field activities
- Travel to environmental project sites throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas
Environmental Field Technician Requirements
Applicants should have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
Knowledge or experience with mechanical repair, plumbing, electrical work, pumps, motors, compressors, piping, or remediation systems is preferred.
