Project Manager/Senior Environmental Specialist

Kevin Niehaus brings more than 18 years of environmental investigation, remediation,
construction oversight, and regulatory support experience to Brilliant Environmental
Services. His background includes extensive work at commercial, industrial, and retail
petroleum sites throughout New Jersey and the Northeast, with particular experience
managing complex petroleum remediation projects.

Throughout his career, Kevin has managed and performed soil, groundwater, soil vapor
and indoor air investigations; underground storage tank removals and closures;
remediation system installation and operation; vapor intrusion assessments; and
petroleum, PCB, chlorinated solvent, pesticide and herbicide remediation. He also
brings significant field operations and staff management experience, along with
extensive AutoCAD environmental drafting capabilities.

As Project Manager / Environmental Specialist at Brilliant, Kevin will utilize his technical
and field experience to manage environmental investigation and remediation projects
from initial investigation through regulatory closure. His combination of hands-on field
knowledge, project management experience, and understanding of remediation
systems will strengthen Brilliant’s ability to efficiently manage projects and provide
practical, technically sound solutions for our clients.

Q: What year did you join Brilliant Environmental Services and what made you join Brilliant?

A: A. 2026. I joined Brilliant because I saw a great opportunity to bring my
experience to a growing company and be part of a strong team.

Q: What has been the highlight of your career at Brilliant?

A: A. I’d say the highlight so far has been meeting the team and getting started. Hopefully the best highlights are still
ahead.

Q: What has been your biggest mistake at Brilliant?

A: Brilliant. A. I haven’t made any major mistakes yet! I’m still learning how Brilliant does things and getting up to speed.

Q: What would be your goal for the 20th year of Brilliant?

A: To continue to watch Brilliant grow as a company that made them successful in the first place.

A: Going Fast and Fixing Things by Rich Bennett.
